A name out of Georgia that you may be unfamiliar with is (2024) Quavon Henry of Cross Creek High (GA). After starting every game last year as a sophomore at Richmond Academy, Henry made this decision this summer to transfer across town to (back-to-back) Defending 3A State Champions and he is poised for a breakout year.
We got an up-close look at this young prospect at our #EliteCamp we held in Columbia, SC a couple weeks back. Quavon was selected as an outstanding performer and named to the Camp All Stars Team.
He displayed good ball skills, which allows him to score in a variety of ways. Standing at (6’3) he has the ability to play on the ball and run the offense, but he also has that instinct to go get buckets. His flashy handles and quick first step allow him to get by the initial defenders with ease. He was crafty in the paint finishing plays in traffic. He had his shot falling at a high clip as well, making him one of the most complete scorers at the camp.
