Evan Ashe Commits To Binghamton

-

One of the “hoop-states” brightest stars has announced his college decision. Evan Ashe, of Wake Forest, NC made his decision yesterday and committed to Binghamton University.

Ashe’ made a name for himself this spring/summer on the travel ball circuit playing with the Juice All Stars out of Raleigh, NC.

Coach James Black had his JUICE squad in Atlanta, GA Memorial Day Weekend for our Independent Hoops Memorial Day Tournament.

Let’s take a look back at what our scouts had to say about Ashe:

“(2023) Evan Ashe of the Juice All Stars 17U stole the show this weekend in Atlanta at the Memorial Day #ExclusiveRuns. The (6’3”/CG) out of Heritage High (NC) is wired to score the ball & seems to always be in attack mode. I personally love the mindset that he approaches the game with – To try and describe it I will say he plays with a “I’ma bring the fight to you” style.

Throughout the weekend, Ashe, averaged better than 25 points per game. He has a good handle, gets to his spots on the floor, knocks down shots with consistency, and even showed he could play above the rim some.

Ashe had a great senior year at Heritage High (NC) where he averaged 14ppg and 6rpg. Since graduating he has decided to re-class and do a post-graduate season at The Winchendon School in Massachusetts. Coaches need to make it a point to see this emerging prospect this summer.
