DJ Shine, the talented 2024 prospect out of Augusta, GA plays grassroots for Upward Stars 3SSB, and he showcased his scoring abilities this past weekend at the Bob Gibbons TOC. Shine’s bull-like approach to scoring the ball, coupled with his great shooting range, makes him one of the best underrated scorers in the country. He can knock down shots consistently off the catch or the dribble, and has a vintage mid-range pull-up jump shot that is tough to defend.

With limited athleticism, Shine’s craftiness and ball-handling skills allow him to get downhill and get to the free-throw line frequently. He averaged better than 20 points per game this past weekend, showcasing his scoring prowess and solidifying his position as a top prospect in the country.
