(2025) Brian Sumpter of Keenan High (SC) is one of those young prospects that you just have a good feeling is destined for greatness. Standing at (6’7), Sumpter catches your eye quickly. Mix in the ball-skills and athleticism he possesses, and it’s easy to see why we deem him next up in the state of South Carolina. 

At the Independent Hoops #EliteCamp in Columbia, SC this past weekend our staff got a great look at this young emerging prospect. Brian showed nice touch around the basket, and proved he has the ability to face up and score from outside the paint. He has a skinny frame right now that he should develop into over these next three years of High School. 

Brian displayed great versatility and the ability to move well laterally for his size . Not only did he showcase his knack for block shots, but also appears to have a bright future in ball-screen situations as well. Expect to hear the name Brian Sumpter a bunch in South Carolina over these next couple of years.
