Avery Thomas (6’7/G|F)

Avery has good positional size, brings elite shooting to the team, and he is a 3-level scorer. He is a slippery scorer who can get into any shot he wants to, as he is an incredibly fluid athlete with excellent body control when the ball is in his possession. He has a very good IQ and playmaking ability and will need to live up to his potential every time he hits the floor.

Austin Ratliff (6’8/F)

With the combination of his freaky athleticism, above-the-rim finishing, and versatility on both ends of the floor, Austin will be a key piece to the Bulldogs’ success this year. His length makes his versatility a problem for opponents. Coaches will have trouble game-planning against him, and players will find it difficult to compete on-court against him. As much as he flies around making plays on the offensive end of the floor, he is just as impactful on the defensive end as he is a disruptive defender who can guard multiple positions.

Jaden Harper (6’4/CG/’24)

Jayden is one of Terry’s primary ballhandlers. He balances facilitating and scoring and will need to be productive in both areas. He is a tough shot-maker and a good playmaker who knows how to get his as well as get his teammates open looks. Jaden has a soft touch from all over the floor, especially when he gets into the lane, where he uses floaters and runners very well.

When asked about two players who will be key pieces of the puzzle for his team this season that were not listed in the top three above, Coach Parker quickly mentioned the following two players:

Keijuan Mangum (6’2/PG) is a tenacious on-ball defender who will be expected to bring leadership and toughness to the squad.

Micah Powell (6’3/G) is an athletic guard who can do everything on the basketball court. Coach Parker feels that Micah is finally putting it together and being a better decision-maker when the ball is in his hands. If Micah can bring consistency with his play, look for him to be extremely valuable to how deep Terry can go in the postseason.

There is a lot of optimism surrounding this year’s Bulldogs team, as Coach Parker believes that this year’s team has the potential to be really special. The Bulldogs have a very fan-friendly and uptempo style that starts on the defensive end of the floor, so it sounds like Bulldog Nation can get ready for some exciting basketball this upcoming season.

When asked what it would take for his team to make a deep playoff run, make it to the Final Four, or even win the State Championship, Coach Parker stated that his team has to bring championship effort, defense, and unselfishness to every game.
